Music from Green Means Go
The two remarkable “Green Means Go” releases offered by BES Toys, are A Day in the Jungle and A Day at the Seaside, and include new arrangements of old songs and original material written by Neal Whitemore and Caroline Chan.
These Cds are an exciting alternative too much of the music targeted at children aged 0-8 years currently available. They both offer songs with genuine musical depth and interest, combined with enchanting sing-along-ability. The tracks are designed to appeal to parents and teachers as much as the children, and to provide a starting point for a range of imaginative and pretend play activities.
The unlikely combination of “Green Means Go's” Neal and Caroline bring together the lead guitarist from an eighties electro-punk band Sigue Sigue Sputnik, and the popular North London children's musician, to make original music for the under 8's.
Each CDs runs for around 30 minutes and features a mixture of classic songs, new arrangements of nursery rhymes and original material. In addition, each CD comes with a 16 page booklet of original artwork and lyrics.
